Remote+ Volume Plugin 2.3.2

This application functions as a complimentary plugin for the DirecTV Remote+ Pro application by Cognitial Mobile. To determine compatibility, you can evaluate this plugin alongside the free version of DirecTV Remote+. Once installed, Pro enables volume and mute control directly within the primary DirecTV Remote+ Pro interface.

• Prior installation of either DirecTV Remote+ Free or Pro is essential to access this plugin. Please refer to those applications for a list of supported models and ensure proper setup of the chosen app before utilizing this plugin.
• While volume control via apps presents challenges for most users, achievable methods include owning a network-controllable television, using a network-to-IR device, or employing a compatible phone or tablet capable of emitting IR signals. These solutions are not commonplace. Notably, among DirecTV Remote developers, only this individual has endeavored volume control due to its intricate nature.

Additionally supported devices may be incorporated in future updates upon request via email, contingent upon network controllability. Please note that absolute support for all brands cannot be guaranteed.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Installation of DirecTV Remote+ (Free or Pro) by Cognitial Mobile is mandatory. Without either version, this plugin will not operate.
2. The presence of an SD card (removable or non-removable) is required for data retrieval purposes regarding settings from your DirecTV Remote app.
3. A device featured on the supported list described earlier is necessary for effective usage.

You can experiment with creating and testing volume profiles using this plugin even with only the free version of DirecTV Remote+ installed. However, full functionality is exclusively available in the Pro edition of the DirecTV Remote+ app.

Note that due to inherent technological constraints, most users may encounter difficulty controlling volume via any application. Limited user access to volume controls is a widely acknowledged reality. For those well-versed in utilizing apps for volume management, such constraints are commonly understood.
